Severe Lag Issues
I realize this might just be a limitation of Empire at War, but I am having terrible lag problems in the late game. Around 10 FPS on the galaxy map AND in battles in most cases. I'm around month 300, so maybe I'm out of luck. On top of this I am using a laptop so I'm not sure. Any help?

If it helps, my specs are:
Intel i9 14th Gen CPU
NVIDIA 4070 Mobile (8GB VRAM)
32GB RAM
2 TB Storage

As far as I know this is a problem caused by the AI and there's nothing that can be done about it, it's a limitation of the old EAW engine. Something along the lines of the AI decisions across a campaign constantly stacking on top of each other and weighing the game down over time.
