Despite how the form indicates rapid fire, non-discretized attacks won't have good counter play, as a result, almost every weapon in the game is discretized in rapidity or range. so whatever the statics are, unfortunately it shouldn't work like the minigun or SMG

How about we bridge the gap between them?

- Fires a 3 round burst, with each bullet dealing 50% more than a pistol bullet
- The time between each burst fire is slightly longer than the time between shotgun shots
- Has a pool of 60 bullets, but doesn't need to reload
- Higher accuracy than the shotgun, but successive shots decrease the accuracy
Ze ÜberHans 5 Dec, 2022 @ 7:01pm
Pros
- Full automatic fire
- No reload needed
- +50% max Primary ammo

Cons
- 25% damage penalty
- +20% bullet spread
- Accuracy decrease as the fire is hold
- No random critical hits

Why tf would you intentionally create a hidden stat

Stat Suggestion:
Notes: Fires 6 bullets in a circle with each bullet dealing 15 damage.
Uses metal as ammo (35 per shot), metal is returned on hit at 33% of damage dealt (No reloads).
Pros:
- Consistent tight spread of bullets within circle.
- 50% decrease in damage fall off.
- 50% damage increase from stock. (Just the rough percent increase to reach the 14 damage pellets.)
Cons:
- 0.75 second cool down between each shot. (Indicated by a loud beep when the weapon is ready again)
A rusty ranger's best friend, using this weapon encourages a long range style of combat and allows the user to both butter up an enemy if they get too close or drain their health as they push the objective.

I think using metal as ammo (and getting metal returned on hit) overlaps with the Widowmaker too much. Also, 33% of damage dealt would give you 30 metal at most, which is less than what it costs to fire.

+ 20% less spread/more accurate
+ Alt-fire unleashes a barrage of shotgun blasts which are less accurate
+ No reload animation
+ No firing limit
+ 20% higher ammo capacity
- Firing too often causes the weapon to overheat
- Overheating disables the weapon for a short time
- Firing causes recoil
- Alt-fire costs 25 metal and counts as 4 bullets
- No random critical hits

pros
+25% Damage
+10% faster firing speed
+steals ammo when you kill someone
+reload whole clip on reload
cons
-5% smaller clip size
-35% less ammo from ammo packs
CAT_ATACK 3 Feb, 2023 @ 12:15pm
Honestly, I'd be fine if it just wound up being a Widowmaker reskin, as it genuinely looks nicer
GiggleJiggle 9 Feb, 2023 @ 11:04pm
+75 Faster firing speed
+ No reload needed
-No Random crits
-this weapon holsters 35% slower

Woah. I really like the idea of this, and the accuracy penalty is a good way to make sure engie doesn't camp his dispenser and rain bullets everywhere.
Pros:
+15% damage
Can headshot
+10% loading speed
+5% projectile speed

Cons:
-10% firing speed
-10% ammo from dispenser
Headshots are mini-crits

Misc:
Alt fire. Shoot every ammo at once with an loading penalty of -33% and -10% movement speed for 6 seconds
