Skyler DrugMods 2.0 and Spawn Rate
I've been busy for the last year But finally, I finished the mod with the plan features with all the drugs I wanted to add plus their 3d models. But I'm not done updating the Drugmod and am open to feedback and new ideas for new features.

The spawn rate issue has been a problem for some of the people. I think I got the drug's spawn rate at a pretty good balance. But I'm open to feedback about increasing or decreasing the spawn rate. I removed a block of cocaine spawn on zombies and Random Junk.

Where do you find the drugs?

It would be nice if there was an option to change the spawnrates ourselves.

@dubby53089 you can find drugs almost anywhere like zombies, car glove boxes, lockers.

So funny story, but not something for you to fix. I use some other mods. my current set has it seeming like the ambulance workers are drug delivery workers. I have trauma kit bags that end up with cocaine bricks, acid. 3 types of pills, cocaine baggies acid, shrooms and accessories. I like the immersive aspect of collecting to make a post apocalyptic drug trade. you might think of using npc systems to make a kingpen npc that will buy or sell drugs. maybe make one per npc mod type. it would be great if you worked with the people behind the cannabis ones to integrate so when we have a chance of your drugs, it includes weed too. i mean. what kind of drug cartel using ambulances to delivery drugs doesn't include weed?

I instaled the mod today and i found a bag with 20 cocain in the house i spawned and another drug wich i forgot the name, maybe i was really lucky but i would love to be able to set the spawnrates myself since the drug effects are overpowered and making them much more rarer would be nice.

We'd like to use it on our roleplay server, however without proper sandbox controls to regulate the drugs spawn rate they are far too abundant. Casual play yields bag full of drugs even on insanely rare loot settings.

You might consider adopting a drug money system. drugs as currency, with use would motivate collection and put it to use. like a drug cartel surviving in Zomboid itself. Just backstory it as a role play to collect and create drugs where cops don't dare to enter. even in a 10 years later mod, it could be considered applicable. it would just require a still active outside world, or major survivor city somewhere to send it too. Zomboid Cartel simulator?

Good day,

first of all I wanna say thank you for this nice mod you created for all of us.
I am playing PZ with your mod for quiet a while now and i am really enjoying it, especially in combination with "Even More Traits" and its "Addict"-Trait.
I also really like the little 3D-Models you created, they look good and they are pretty realistic.. the only thing i would change is the model of the Shrooms, maybe they would fit better into the game if you put them in a baggy like the Coke or something.

Another thing i noticed so far would be the eating-animation that starts, when you are injecting Heroin.. i think this speaks for itself, lol.
One more thing about the Heroin (or mabe all opiod-related substances like Oxycodon also) should be an added painreduction like when you are injesting Painkillers.
This way the added Items could also be useful if you are missing like I said.. normal Painkillers.
I also would add panic reduction to the Xanax so they could also act like Beta-Blockers, this one would feel realistic for the Heroin also (i did not do heroin myself lol).

There are 2 big and for me personally important ideas which came to my mind for your mod.
The first one would be to maybe add moodlets for your "trips".
For example "Joy" or "Rush" to let you know about whats happening to your character.
The second idea would be to add an amount system for Pills and Cokebags like for Vitamins, and other items you could use up. With this i would also increase the weight of those Items.
The mod "Marching Powder" does this in a good way, there you can also craft lines with a mirror.

Sadly i have no idea how Lua or Java works, therefore i am giving those suggestions to you.

I find that with certain mod sets, ambulances medical bags are filled with them.

it's not uncommon for me to pull 2 kilos of coke out of an ambulance but weirdly i never find painkillers of any type.

Go for trashcans to gather them. One to two kilos per bag, 5 or 6 trauma bags. I love my loot settings. Drug mafia kingpin here i come. I wonder if a zombie can OD?
