The spawn rate of drugs and their massive bonuses to stats and moodles are very overpowered in multiplayer servers. We'd like to use it on our roleplay server, however without proper sandbox controls to regulate the drugs spawn rate they are far too abundant. Casual play yields bag full of drugs even on insanely rare loot settings.
You might consider adopting a drug money system. drugs as currency, with use would motivate collection and put it to use. like a drug cartel surviving in Zomboid itself. Just backstory it as a role play to collect and create drugs where cops don't dare to enter. even in a 10 years later mod, it could be considered applicable. it would just require a still active outside world, or major survivor city somewhere to send it too. Zomboid Cartel simulator?

first of all I wanna say thank you for this nice mod you created for all of us.
I am playing PZ with your mod for quiet a while now and i am really enjoying it, especially in combination with "Even More Traits" and its "Addict"-Trait.
I also really like the little 3D-Models you created, they look good and they are pretty realistic.. the only thing i would change is the model of the Shrooms, maybe they would fit better into the game if you put them in a baggy like the Coke or something.
Another thing i noticed so far would be the eating-animation that starts, when you are injecting Heroin.. i think this speaks for itself, lol.
One more thing about the Heroin (or mabe all opiod-related substances like Oxycodon also) should be an added painreduction like when you are injesting Painkillers.
This way the added Items could also be useful if you are missing like I said.. normal Painkillers.
I also would add panic reduction to the Xanax so they could also act like Beta-Blockers, this one would feel realistic for the Heroin also (i did not do heroin myself lol).
There are 2 big and for me personally important ideas which came to my mind for your mod.
The first one would be to maybe add moodlets for your "trips".
For example "Joy" or "Rush" to let you know about whats happening to your character.
The second idea would be to add an amount system for Pills and Cokebags like for Vitamins, and other items you could use up. With this i would also increase the weight of those Items.
The mod "Marching Powder" does this in a good way, there you can also craft lines with a mirror.
Sadly i have no idea how Lua or Java works, therefore i am giving those suggestions to you.
