Add some cheap weapons that can be crafted and not only found on the wrecks and abandoned outposts. Like some small arms with decent damage for their cost.

Maybe a sword? Always good to have a sabre on a submarine (maybe not unique tho, it's completely worth crafting, since it's basically an upgraded wrench with bleed damage)

maybe i will make a mod for craftables. not sure there should be a bunch more for this mod mostly because it's based on unique weapons. i like the thinking though, ill keep these in mind

the quick-med should have 3 slots of x1 syringes instead of a 3x 1 slot so you can shoot europabrew and 2 acid syringes

2 things I noticed: 1 . The gun sound of the bore rifle is a bit weak, it should sound more in line with the actual rifle having a real punch. 2. The position of one character arm is a bit off when firing the lead thresher, especially visible when you crouch while firing it. I think you could easily fix this by just lowering the one arm that goes flying during shooting.

yea i have similar thoughts about the big bore. it's the same sound as a handcannon increased 5x, but it could be louder. ive made it 10x now in the most recent update but maybe at some point i will make a custom sound for it.

as for the lead thresher, its supposed to look like the character is grabbing the handle while firing. didn't realize it looked a lot worse when crouched so might edit it at somepoint, ty. for now though i still like it :)

dw there are some variants already in the making that i am quite excited about. i love your hmg ideas just not sure if they are possible in the xml hellscape that barotrauma is currently in. not sure how to trigger when crouching but ill try to figure it out. also i am already working on the semi auto rifle from your first comment almost exactly as described :)

i have something like the antique rifle coming along too, but no spoilers for now...

the harpoon gun idea is nice. been struggling to find a way to make the harpoon gun different enough to be unique. might make that an armory weapon

i had a tri or quad barrel shotgun in the making once but it felt like it superceded the boomstick. im more trying to make weapons that fit alongside the currently existing unique weapons instead of super ceding them so adding it felt a bit antithetical. good thinking though

also explosive shield is a GOOD idea. hopefully xml will let me do that

also if anyone has a better idea for a name for the samurai sword lmk. something that isn't just a media reference and fits more in line with the other uniques like the europan handshake. maybe it should just be 'katana' but it seems like there are so many mods that add one already i dont want it to get confused...
