am I able to install thin onto a pre-existing world or do I have to start a new world

It just adds guns it shouldn't cause too many issues if you add it to an existing world.

@slatelobster covered it in the Q&A but it should be safe to add, but be careful if you want to remove the mod as that can cause issues.
