Sup bro. Yeah i've made 2 categories. There is just the normal speedrun, die as many times as you want use as many game tricks as you want, any% pretty much. The insanity run is just an extra gimmick i made to see if ppl wanted to see how long they could go without dying (1 take pretty much, quick loading counts too i've figured otherwise you could just cheat it). I' ve done a couple casual speedruns but never tried to not die XD. I also made some recordings of like guides and stuff (particularly for some ppl who were getting pretty annoying claiming it's impossible), but never got to upload them. One day perhaps ahah.
TLDR: Normal leaderboard die as much as you want. Insanity run see how far you can go without dying (or reloading).
HF! I'd really love to see one of your runs :p
Hey!
So i'm assuming the (0.9) is referring to the version of the game, which would be incompatible with doing the mod/speedrun because it is meant to be done in the lastest version (Definitive).
However if u're up to do it in the current version and you want to do earthbound only, i say go for it, and i'll add the Earthbound only section.
I'm known in the Receiver 2: Bozo's Torture Chamber campaign mod, which is just like this; an insanely difficult mod that really pushes the limits of what's considered even remotely possible.
If I like it enough I might do runs for it! Are there any other rules I should be aware of? I assume of course for valid runs no other mods that change gameplay, but what about purely cosmetic mods?
Hey!
Have fun playing the mod!
No special rules come to mind, the usual speedrun stuff, feel free to use cosmetic mods (just be sure to mention the ones you are using ;p)
I also have one more question.. Do we have to start from the VERY Beginning? Or can we start after the Tram-line?
Also I'll be streaming on Twitch!

in official speedruns you always start at Chapter 2 :p. No need to play through the prologue.
I'll try to catch your streams =)
