Language:

"Shokmarel" the dwarven word for milk, roughly translates as cheese-water (reflecting dwarves being the only known civilisation to invent cheese before they discovered milk).

"Awemaza" the elven word for mammal, roughly translates as ape-snake, reflecting elves being obnoxious in general.

"Rusmesp" the goblin word for milk literally translates as gluttonwater. Seems about what you would expect from goblins.

"Thomem" the human word for gluttony roughly translates as fat-greed. About as imaginative as you'd expect from humans.

Preferences:

If anyone is familiar with cows, (or dwarves) I think they might agree that a dwarf could like cows for their nostril licking skills.

Dwarves can like llamas for their protective nature, as they make famously good guard llamas and will even protect a herd of animals of a different species from preditors.

Animal names:

The collective adjective for cavies is "hystricomorphic". It is a word, I promise, and is about as accurate as describing wolves as canine or cats as feline.
