So we can keep the feeder contents refrigerated just like Rimfridge, it is a 1x1 refrigerated storage if you also have RimFridge installed.

When I am using regular meals, I always use RimFridge so I can forbid my walk-in refrigerator to keep the cool weather in while my meals are in that refrigerated storage that also takes longer to spoil even during a solar flare. Usually, I can survive the flares without anything spoiling this way. Right now, VNPE mostly makes sense for me to use for my hospitals with dippers and prisoners with a 3x1 dispensers. Or I chug the feeder to the fridge, dispense 10x paste and haul it to my RimFridge in my dining room which is a manual hassle. I end up keeping emergency 10x paste there and still keep cooking 10x fine meals if I need a pawn to haul it over anyway. And that's only IF I have already built it, keeping an emergency kibble does make more sense than paste tbh but then you need both meat and vegetables

P.S: Dispenser takes a while to dispense, while vanilla doesn't have vats. Imo, similar to the vanilla dispenser, it shouldn't require meals stored in vats but gets connected to the grinder directly. The disadvantage is already there with pawns taking turns and time to dispense compared to the feeder or the dipper, my prisoners keep going berserk because another prisoner was taking a turn and they starved, I would rather keep a refrigerated feeder for them too ...
