My suggestion isn't specifically related to this mod, but is perhaps within your awesome modding power to achieve: a compatibility patch that makes Food Stack work with Enhanced Storage so both their sorting icons are functional.
Enhanced Storage is a must-have for me, but all that dang food everywhere is driving me nuts!
I was actually considering doing that exact thing.
Will have a look into it tomorrow, once i identify the issue and a solution.
I had read the comment on the mod stating the issue and had assumed it to be the case, however when I use the fork/knife icon in the fridge inventory the items do stack as anticipated.
I am using two mods in this case:
1. Enhanced Storage
2. Food Stack
I tested stacking items with 3 different rotting states (alienfruit).
If you could provide more information on what objects you are using, and what exactly isn't working that would help me isolate the issue further.
Thanks.
The button is actually disabled by default on normal containers, and positioned in the same location as the enhanced storage button.
However, once reactivated it seems to work just fine.
I will release a patch once I have it.
Once that is done, I will let you know!
I look forward to the patch!
Thankfully, not everyone is like that, haha.
The fix was actually a lot simpler than I had anticipated, the only real challenge was creating a patch file (cause i've never done that for another mod before yesterday lol)
Strangely, it wasn't a conflict with Enhanced Storage afaik, but rather the functionality was simply disabled on crates for some reason.
Anyway, enough rambling, here's the mod. Hopefully it works for you. Works well for me.
