Bugs/Issues
Always provide Logs and what settings you using:
- Full Log File (Menu - Options - General - Log file folder).
- Mod Settings (Menu - Options - Mod options - Tech Level Progression).

I'm stuck in Neolithic, even though 33/38 > 0.75
When I drop the percentage it does change my tech level.
Log file, I run a lot of mods so its a mess, but my game functions very stable eitherway :P

I just loaded it so the logs aren't as huge as they usually are. Tech Level Progression output is at the bottom or here:

Current tech level Neolithic
Archotech progress 0 / 0
Ultra progress 1 / 52
Spacer progress 3 / 91
Industrial progress 48 / 222
Medieval progress 21 / 47
Neolithic progress 33 / 38

TheRealLemon, you actually not stuck, you have neolithic, cause you didn't unlock enough in Medieval projects. If you look at you screenshot you currently have global 75%, which mean that you would need total ~35 Medieval projects finished to get to Medieval TL, while you have 21 rn. If you swap to precise settings, then you can see that Medieval is 24/47, so you need to get 3 more medieval research more to get from your current 21 to 24 and then it will progress to medieval.

To progress to new Tech Level you need to research projects of that exact Tech Level. So it working as intended for you and you pretty close to reaching Medieval threshold, if swap to precise settings.

Oh my bad! I thought I would go up a tech level if I had completed 75% of the level I'm in.

I'm at medieval tech level, but I keep getting booted back to neolithic every time I log out of game. The log on right side of screen says I'm medieval but the research screen has me at neolithic. After I finish research on a tech it puts me back to were I should be. Is this a bug?

oking28, I noticed that sometimes it not checking research on save load. For now not sure what the reason, cause in most cases it works, maybe some other particular mod preventing it, so it need some time for me to figure out.

Amnaa, yes, you researched 13/13 animal projects. But you need to get % of Neolithic TL projects to progress to Neolithic itself. Which you have only 7/42 def under threshold.

I've added VFE tribals and when I try to advance to archotech, but the slider in the mod settings is only fitting 6 epochs when there should be seven. Its keeping me at ultra when don't want to stay at ultra. Could you add something to disable the slider?

Not a big issue, but the letter 'Tech Level Increased' (to Medieval) comes back at every load.

My settings:
Requires 50%
Keep Tech Level between Neolithic and Spacer

Yoann, from the logs it seems like it work as intended, cause your Medieval research is 8/12, which higher than 50%, this way your faction become Medieval TL. If you want to go higher to Industrial TL, then you need to finish 25/49 Industrial research. As for why letter appear, it cause on save load it check all research information and due to it making you Medieval from default Neolithic.

Ok, it's only about the letter, a bit weird that the mod cant remember that it sent already.

Yoann, it done this way so player will be able to remove mod at any time without leaving a trace in your save file. Cause other TL mods usually when removed keep the Tech Level changes that they done, but this way allow you to go back, if okayer for example decided that he no longer want to change his TL from vanilla one.

Tribal start. Every time I finish a Research I get booted back down to Neolithic and keep having to advance to Medieval Tech Level. Not sure where to start looking for the cause of the issue.

After that explain a bit what you mean under "keep having to advance to Medieval TL".
