In a previous playthrough I managed to complete the puzzle by randomly flicking switches, I'm looking at the skeletons and the lava tube-machine below the room now to solve it and I can't. One of the pits of lava is only a block full as opposed to the others. I've looked everywhere else in the map and I can't find anywhere else to progress.
