MULTIPLAYER SERVER
  • No matter what I do it always defaults to the options ?
Several mods that change settings like this mod require disabling anti-cheat. To try to solve this problem :
1. Make a backup before editing the file "servertest.ini" in /Zomboid/Server/ folder
2. Modify last lines with "false" value like :
AntiCheatProtectionType12=true TO AntiCheatProtectionType12=false
3. If it's a private server with trusted friends, all anti-cheat protections can be disabled
4.Save and restart the game server !

The sandbox Settings are not fully displayed. From "vitamins" onwards, there is no input field. Does it have something to do with language? I enabled the translation mod

不知道你有没有解决。我遇到了同样的问题,导致这个问题的原因出在汉化版的调整沙盒设置这个mod,订阅作者推荐的英文原版就不会出现后半部分不显示的情况了

Hello,

I run a small server for a discord server and I keep having issues with getting the consumption settings set.
I've tried adjusting them via the servertest_SandboxVars.lua file manually, then restart my server to update the values in game. But there doesn't appear to be any change in the consumption of the given item (in testing I've been using a vanilla flashlight).
When reviewing the settings in the sandbox variable menu via the admin panel in-game, the values do not reflect those shown in the servertest_SandboxVars.lua file.

Additionally, when initially trying to change the consumption rates, I attempted to use the in-game admin panel. This process worked, however, I misunderstood the translation of consumption and set everything low instead of high.
The changes made within the admin panel did not change the SandboxVars file, and reverting back to the defaults by editing the file did not revert the settings to default after restarting the server. The settings set from within the admin panel remained, and even after adjusting them from the admin panel, they would continue to revert back to the values I set initially.
To resolve the issue, I tried deleting all mods by deleting the folder, starting with a fresh SandboxVars file, then downloading and reinstalling all mods again. This did not resolve the issue.
The only way I was able to restore the default settings was reverting back to a recent backup I made.

TLDR; Values in SandboxVars.lua do not seem to update the values in my server, and setting the settings via the in-game admin panel result in forced and stuck values that can't be changed up/down once set.
AntiCheatProtectionType12 is set to false as per the above instruction.

Is there another file that's somehow being referenced by the consumption mod, or maybe I've found a bug with my environment? I see others using this mod, so I'd like to think I'm just dumb and doing something wrong.
