All this information is available in game on mouse-over in "Sandbox options" (see mod screenshots).

Consumption of flashlight
Default: 1.0 = approx. 1111 units per item
Example: 5.0 = 5555 units; 2.0 = 2222 units; 0.5 = 555 units; 0.25 = 278 units; 0.1 = 111 units

Consumption of hand torch
Default: 1.0 = 2500 units per item
Example: 5.0 = 12500 units; 2.0 = 5000 units; 0.5 = 1250 units; 0.25 = 625 units; 0.0004 = 1 unit

Consumption of lighter
Default: 1.0 = 32 units per item
Example: 5.0 = 160 units; 2.0 = 64 units; 0.5 = 16 units; 0.25 = 8 units; 0.03125 = 1 unit

Consumption of matches
Default: 1.0 = 10 units per item

Maybe I didn't get it quite right.
If I put a larger number in a consuming item (like battery), it will have more 'max health', therefore take longer to use it all?
And if I put a small number in a consumer item (like flashlight), it will drain less from this consuming health? I think it is a bit confusing, sorry for my ignorance

With a larger number, flashlight will work longer.
Does anyone know if increasing the value in the settings increases the amount of time a resource can be used? or does it increase the amount of the resource that get's consumed with each use?
