Holster Your Weapon

Suggestions
@Eboreg I have a couple of things which seem pretty much required to make this mod work and one that is just a quality of life improvement.

Make the time to fire a weapon be the same as base game to not mess up any quickness math, but make it so that holstered weapons need to take a turn (or half a turn) to get the "Unholstered" effect (probably don't want this for things like turrets or creatures that have their weapons out at all times for reasons).

Add an ability that lets you give your weapon the "Unholstered" effect, but don't let characters do melee attacks without holstering their ranged weapon first; how this works with an unarmed character or if one hand is free but the other isn't because missiles slots aren't hand slots I have no idea, but something in-game to represent that makes having your gun out at all times is impractical is important (otherwise why not have your gun out all the time?).

For quality of life, add something that @I blame Earthsaker recommended with a kind of Quickdraw skill under the Pistol skill tree (not sure about other ranged weapons).

What do you think about these ideas? Do you think they're as crucial as I think they are?

I like the bit about not messing with the base quickness math; if holsterable missile weapons were to take a half-turn less to fire than non-holsterable missile weapons (turrets, guns for arms, I don't know), then all holsterable weapons have a small quickness advantage over permanently deployed/wielded ones, which makes little sense.

Agree, although it might be hard to implement.

Edit: Or you could take it one step further and also have a "sheathed/unsheathed" option for melee weapons as well.
