Balance and other changes
Hey all, feel free to suggest changes and balance here.
I feel Orchi lines up pretty alright with the base-game cast of characters, but im a little worried she may underperform against some characters and matchups!

It can only be used during combos! Nothing was changed to it on last patch

So one thing I noticed is her cinematic supers actual build her burst at full rate while shes using them. That might be something that needs to be fixed since you can basically just refill your burst meter with them while the opponent doesnt regen theirs.

Ah, yeah. Originally her supers allowed for bursting mid-super, breaking the move entirely, so bursts were disabled. This is actually fairly easy to patch now, as i just have to pause her burst bar too now. Thanks for the feedback! I'll patch it in on the next patch (hopefully soon, if i heal from my cold!).

No problem! The timer actually goes down during them too (which I think some games do) so I'm not sure if that's intentional or not either.

I really love this character, but I feel like call stance takes waaay too long. At least the vending machine has two different exit options each has their own benefits. It feels like cell phone takes longer than the vending machine, yet gives you less options. Just a thought

yeah, call stance is made this way because it gives orchi access to a projectile. there are setups to combo in-and-out of this, however! Counterhit swingspin > phone > call mori > stomp works as a combo extender :)

you may want to update your damage and knockback and stuff because the custom combo update changes the way a lot of stuff works
characters that were balanced last week are no longer because of the update

from experience they still have a decent problem with their air combos, as 50% of their air moves have very little DI effect until late into combo scaling (combined with the very fast frame data of spin and the easy availability the rev'd up blasts) not saying this is that bad of a thing cause they have very low damage without setting up orchiseeker or going back to grounded

hmm, I see. I did lower DI on 2 moves to allow her for easy juggling, but those are only in the potion stance, I'll take a look regardless, thanks for the feedback

Rev up can act as a 3 frame wait, incredibly unbalanced, a lot of her attacks also practically ignore DI, which makes punishing bad moves hard

I'm surprised this is only the first complaint about rev up, since it is sorta like a turnskip yeah, although it does use an air option.

As for the DI, it's lowered on some of her moves on her kit to allow her to go higher yeah, that's kind of her whole deal, short range, good combos, big damage.
