Election, election…
In my view(well I believe many of you will agree with this), in many great powers, the outcome of an election are decided by the view of elites in the country rather than the masses even though they have competitive elections, no matter you are happy about this or not.

So inspired by China: Mao’s Legacy, I think such systems will be make more sense: each candidate will get points if the domestic or international situation are in favor of him or her, the guy got most points win no(or not really) matter the actual popularity.

I will give you a example about French election in 1981 in CML, so friends from G8(America, Britain, etc) or familiar the politics of these countries can send me the logic, I will help you show that in the mod.
