when i press reload atlases nothing happens

Make sure you've enabled Lizardcat through the Remix menu by selecting it and pressing Apply Mods. I find it rather unintuitive that workshop items aren't immediately enabled on launch.

my tail is permanently detached for some reason

Without some specification, I assume you've set the tail's colour to a particularly dark value. Sufficiently dark colours set via the menu selectors will multiply over the tail sprite's own artificially near-black masking to #00000 (pure black) which is recognized as transparent. The tails with included gradients don't suffer total transparency, but their bases are still dark enough for the effect to carry over.
Provide a link for an image of the issue if you are able, your settings for the tail included.

alright- i think it might've had something to do with the small tunnels in subterranean- it trailed behind me instead of attached to me after a tight corner. i made it really long and it caught on a corner, then was detached for the rest of the time. I don't know if i took any images

Tails have an increasing chance of falling through terrain the longer they are once the mesh collision is sufficiently provoked by geometry. This is a known side-effect to increasing segments of the tail and not exclusive to any sprites or skins.

when I play as spearmaster with the mod it vanishes my body but I can see the spots only

Make sure slugcat's colours aren't dark enough to turn pure black (transparent). If not, a mod must be conflicting with DMS.

If Teno is still replying to these i need help... i have my cosmetics enabled but when i play they arent there so could you help out??

UPDATE: I know its only been like 7 Minute BUT THIS IS IMPORTANT INFORMATION. Only my tail has cosmetics. Im going to the discord to try and sort this out il be back in like 30 minutes. Good luck surviving the rain!
