Dunno if you're still working on this, but this mod seems to mess with the textures of the Micro Machines mod's Water Well? Not entirely sure why. Micro Machines cuts down the image of the Water Well to just the spout with the water flow animation, but after subscribing to this mod, it instead cycles through various parts of the full Water Well sprite. As far as I've found, this is the only Micro Machines item that's affected.

Which Micro Machines is this a part of? I don't see it in the vanilla edition.

Recently decided to get back into the game again. I subscribed to this because my game often freezes up. This mod has helped a bit, but the biggest offender still happens: when anything is dropped or when I pick it up, either my dedicated server or myself freezes up for a few seconds.

I could blame this to having a lot of subscribed mods, but in previous versions of the game (years ago) it wasn't this bad, the stutter usually lasted for less than a second and it happened every few minutes, but now it's about a 7 second freeze every 2 minutes.

I thought of conflicting mods but I've been digging through my list over and over. The log only shows some missing recipes or patch files that couldn't be applied because a key is missing.

I'm not sure if the mod is supposed to help with those hang-ups too, so I decided to post it here just in case it helps. The way I can easily reproduce this is by staying in the ship with your hands free, standing still for about 5~10 minutes? Then quickly swapping to a dirt block and dropping it then picking it up again.

This isn't something I've targeted specifically, but I'll try looking into it. In the meantime, others have suggested Better (C) Pick Ups helps with that, you could give it a try.

I tried Better (C) Pick Ups a few days ago but it didn't seem to make a difference, unfortunately. It actually was one the first results when looking around for the issue.

It doesn't look like it is graphical I think? (Honestly, I have no idea what kind of issue it could be). The reason I'm guessing it isn't graphical is because the server does halt for a little bit at random as well, but I could be wrong.

FPS wise, everything is fine, it's just that it halts frequently at random times for some reason. It also happens when trying to pick up something from a chest or clicking on something in the inventory.

I've checked my system and I don't see any abnormal spikes in the CPU or disk, and my GPU usage is almost 0% (which I guess makes sense because I heard Starbound does the majority of its render on the CPU). What confuses me the most is, back in the 1.3.x version, this wasn't that severe of a problem. I wonder what they changed in the core of the game.
