Remove MAAs from CE and RICE, and use Cultural Armies MAAs only
Here's my suggestion to overwrite the MAA files from CE and RICE, to let only Cultural Armies' MAAs show up in game.

For each MAA file in the CE, RICE and MB+ (noticed the mod has its own MAA files), I copied the 'men at arms' folder into your compatch.

I then commented out these files' contents with

When you load in the game, the MAAs added by CE and RICE should be missing now, although the innovations will still show the MAAs' localisation.

You may want to keep the MAAs from ROA (i.e. the SEA MAAs) because Cultural Armies may not have created MAAs for them.

Also, for the non MB+ version of your modlist, you may want to overwrite Cultural Armies' cultures and pillars files in the same way as there's no reason for that mod to have those files there. The innovations for the cultural armies MAAs are added via script and do not seem to depend on the culture files.

Also, Cultural Armies has some vanilla MAAs edited for probable balance reasons (in '00_cultural_maa_types' their Gendarmes has 155 Damage whilst in MB+ their Gendarmes has 125 Damage).

You could also do a Winmerge to compare / keep Cultural Armies' values for balancing purposes.

If sassanid legacy could somehow be given to the Khotanese Saka, Ossetian Alans, Khalaj, and the Hephthalites that would be awesome. I don't know why they aren't considering the Saka/Sythians are Iranian and the latter two being quickly Pashtunized during 7-9th century.

Simplefish... I'll take care of that... hopefully it doesn't mess up non MB players... same goes for Chillthan...I've got it coded...are you talking khotanese, khalaj, hephthalite, turco-hephtalite and alan cultures. That's how i have it coded at the moment.

Yeah, that would be it. I'm fairly certain the Hephthalites culture doesnt exist on the map and is only used as a placeholder to show the hybridization into Turco-Hepthalite, which is on the map. I don't know how that would look in the code, however.

The Pamiri culture could probably get Sassanid legacy Men-at-arms too considering its an Aryan culture in the Iran region.
