Minor but something I noticed is that east and south saxon cultures have norse aesthetics

That is intended as referred by Cultures Expanded and MB+

Ah okay. My Bad I thought Anglo Saxon cultures had both Norse and continental clothing in mb+/culture expanded. I did not realize they made it only Norse for some Anglo Saxon cultures
