that mod is incompatible with my mod's testing feature since it is its own thing entirely. my mod checks for player mod data or my own immune trait
Had the Fake Infection Status, tested Immune, trait was added to my Info list.
After about 3-5 days my Bite wound healed but after another 3 days my Sickness (Nauseous) never went away.
Hopped into Debug Mode and my "Fake Infection" was at 56.~ so I FW to see any change and nothing, didn't go up or down. Enabling God-Mode got rid of the Fake Infection.
We had previously had this issue with a different immunity mod on our last server about 6 months ago and so when we started this server up recently we switched to your mod instead. Upon researching this issue further I came across somebody in a comment section regarding somebody who died in this way and it seems to point to a possible culprit.
It reads "Do you have any cure mods and did you cure yourself previously? Cure mods have an issue with the base game's infection timer not being reset so they just prevent you from dying from the first infection, but the next one will kill you instantly as the timer has already gone to zero so to speak. Not sure what else it could be"
I'm just wondering if that's what happened to my friend, because the person who died on that Reddit post died under basically the same circumstances and conditions.
Could this be looked into?
Thanks,
Hi Cori, thanks for reporting this issue. This is something I am aware of and tried fixing in the past with no success. Based on testing in debug mode, I figured it is a vanilla issue. Sorry, this is not something I can fix on my own or in the near future.
I'd love to have a fix for it one day, but I currently am not playing or working on mods for this game for quite awhile. I think if there are improvements to modding the health panel in B42, I might be able to come up with an alternative solution (but no guarantee).
There is a good chance that these mods are incompatible, and therefore I will not be marking this mod as broken because of an incompatibility with another immunity mod.
