maybe like fight styles or something like that, would change animation to a certain set and a stance as well.

I'll consider it but I'd rather not limit the animations that can play. The more variety the better and locking animations to a particular stance would prevent that.

Hands can be disabled in mod settings so it doesn't make much sense to make hand-only animations...

Do you have any plans to add melee animation of range weapon?
In this game, I use many range weapons available in close combat, such as throwing daggers, spears and axes. Could you please add option to apply animation to some range weapons?

Vanilla Factions Expanded - Classical? On the one hand the mod doesn't have a lot of weapons, on the other hand it shouldn't be very difficult to add it to the list.

Spear/Pike dedicated animations. I kinda feel like spears/pikes should be thrusted and not swung. Addition of shield blocking animations would be nice as well, nothing too fancy
I think unlocking new animations based on your research level could be cool. If you're a tribal faction, then you get more brutish and unrefined combat, then as you progress the fighting style gets more sophisticated.

I know you said you didn't really want to "limit" the animations, but I think animations based on your ideology could be something to consider as well. Some factions for instance may not like killing so (not saying this happens in your mod) but ripping a guy's spine out or decapitation may not be something everyone would do

Love the lasso feature. Would it be possible to have a visible timer for the lasso? Same with the executions? Kinda a bit of micro management having to right click enemies and hope you've got the timing right.

Added support for T's faction and Metal Rim Rising.

I will add a visual lasso cooldown thanks for the suggestion.

I want to avoid locking animations behind research for now. Maybe once I have many more animations I will do that but for now I want to keep the availabile animations as high as possible.

"Hands can be disabled in mod settings so it doesn't make much sense to make hand-only animations..." aw cmon, i´d love seeing punches, i´d even leave them active despite having deactivated hands. i mean hands only for punching would be my to favourite option :p i´d activate hands just to see punches aswell tho
