Summary of the new districts
New Districts
  • Housing Districts:
    • Ocean Housing: doesn't take up district slots, but adds no jobs
    • Underground Housing: doesn't take up district slots, adds more building slots, no jobs and less housing
    • Ascended Housing: lots of housing and buildings slots, high upkeep, no jobs
    • Suburbs awaiting rework
    • Shelters: less housing and more upkeep, but increases habitability

  • Industrial Districts:
    • Biological Industries: uses food to produce consumer goods and alloys, adds an extra farmer job, and a ranger job for every agri district; replaces industrial district if you have either environmentalists, agrarian idyll, or the nature civics from this mod
    • Infrastructure District: 3 max; available to all regular planets; gives building slots, a ruler, an enforcer and a healthcare (patrol and assembler for gestalts)

  • Energy Districts:
    • Fusion Generator
    • Fossil Fuel Powerplant
    • Wind Park
    • Geothermal Powerplant
    • Solar Park
    • Tidal Generator
    • Biomass Powerplants

  • Mining Districts:
    • Unstable Mining
    • Stable Mining
    • Surface Mining
    • Deep Mining
    • Mountain Mining

  • Farming Districts:
    • Nature Farms
    • Ocean Farms
    • Exotic Farms
    • Cave Farms
    • Oasis Farms
    • Industrial Farms

  • Primary Districts: These require deposits - Chemistry, Gas Refinery, Crystal Mines, Nature Reserve, Research Complex, Tourism, Garden, Ecogarden, Assembly, Archeology, Scrapyard
  • Ringworld Primaries: The Ringworld needs to be in certain locations to have these - Neutronium Forge, Exotic Resource Collector, Siphon Ports, Crystallization Facilities and Asteroid Mining
  • A new ringworld district available to all: Universal District

  • Secondary Districts: Hydroponic Bay, Local Stores, Local Industry, Production Hub, Workshops, University, Spaceport, Academy, Logistics Hub, Bureaucratic, Entertainment and Necrophage
  • Arcology Secondaries: Tunnel Networks, Relay Stations, Lower City Development and Shipyards

  • Hab Districts: External Habitation Module, Orbital Alloy Mine, Orbital Volatile Motes Mine, Orbital Exotic Gas Mine, Orbital Rare Crystal Mine, Orbital Dark Matter Mine, Orbital Zro Mine, Orbital Living Metal Mine, Orbital Nanites Mine

Am I missing something or are ocean planets just way better than everything else right now? They and gaias seem to be the only ones with ocean farms and tidal generators that don't take up district slots? I thought maybe they were inherently smaller but there's a size 24 on this map so I don't think that's it.

Well, you still need the deposits for it and these two districts are also more expensive. I just copy-pasted the effects and costs of the original without thinking about balance but if you have any concrete suggestions then be sure to share them

When the welcome message appears, click on 'I want to disable some things', after that go to districts, housing districts and disable suburbs

are the new farms, power plants, mining districts effected by buildings like the processing facilities and by edicts that effect technicians, miners and farmers?

If a planet is missing the master deposit is there a way to add it?

Whenever I build a Fusion powerplant it immediately despawns when the construction finishes. Am i missing something?

Am I too ***. When I choose a second District a Pop up window ask me which one I choose. After that nothing happens? My Earth is fully build with Ascention Perk 3. Hm

Is there any way to get rid of the non-demolishable districts like nature farms? I had no idea they were a permenant thing when I made em and I can't make an ecumenopolis on my capital now.
