Summary of the new buildings
New Buildings
  • Lavender Plantations T1-T3, these turn food into amenities and trade value/stability
  • Tea Plantations T1-T3, these turn food into unity and trade value/stability
  • Spice Plantations T1-T3, these turn food into consumer goods and trade value/stability
  • Algae Purifiers T1-T2, these turn food into alloys
  • Lichen Plantations T1-T2, these turn food into minerals
  • Silence Flower T1-T2 and Red Flower Plantations, these make D R U G S

  • Tree Temple: Gives a special gardener job that gives unity, research and stability
  • Underground Tunnel Complex: More max districts, cave farms and deep mines and a cave cleaner job

Have you at all considered making these, as well as all spammable buildings, into secondary districts? Such that only planetary unique and empire unique buildings exist (and storage hubs just to fill out the empty slots)? I've thought that's the best direction to go since they added industrial districts and since 36 building slots became fairly standard among modded players.

Yeah I've thought about it in the past, but I was never sure about it. While I would try at least, it would clutter the district ui too much (especially with uiod). And there still aren't enough buildings to fill out planets that way, which, well, isn't good either.

The discontinued Stellaris Immortal overhaul I think it was called took planets down to only 3 building slots, one per capital building level, that are used to specialize the planet, then everything else was districts. Food for thought.

Stellaris Immortal had a very good concept. Especially the game being still playable in late game without lag. Though a vastly different concept to default Stellaris.
