Exotic Resources and their Buildings/Exotic Phenomena
Exotic Resources
These have to be mined first, after that you can build buildings on any planet, like if you mined minerals on one planet and made alloys on another.
  • Triiodide:
    Triiodide is an extremely dangerous ionized substance, that explodes even through the slightest contact. It maxes for very effective munitions thanks to that.
    Buildings:
    • Triiodide Refinery
    • Triiodide Weapons Testing Facility
    Also unlocks 'Triiodide Grenadier' army (20 max per building)

  • Vantablack
    Vantablack piques the interest of many scientists, as it absorbs most if the light that falls into it.
    Buildings:
    • Vantablack Extraction Site
    • Vantablack Research Institute

  • Gallium
    Gallium is a metal that melts at room temperature. It is very useful in the manufacturing of processors and other similar hardware.
    Buildings:
    • Gallium Mine
    • Gallium Circuitry Manufactory

  • Plutonium
    Plutonium is a highly energetic material that can be used in bombs or for power generation
    Buildings:
    • Plutonium Enrichment Facility
    • Plutonium Generator
    • Plutonium Containment and Processing Complex
    Also unlocks a decision to place plutonium bombs upon your colonies. I may add a feature to add it to occupied colonies too, just to ♥♥♥♥ with your enemies.

  • Adamantite
    Adamantite is a very sturdy metal.
    Buildings:
    • Adamantite Plants
    • Adamantite Armory
    Also unlocks 'Adamantite Automaton' army (12 max per building)

  • Administrantium
    Administrantium turbocharges bureaucrats that come into contact with it.
    Buildings:
    • Administrantium Refinery
    • Hyper-Bureaucratic Complex (different in special cases, like for gestalts and megacorps)

  • Coaxium - taken from star wars
    Coaxium is a potent source of fuel for spaceships.
    Buildings:
    • Coaxium Extraction Rig
    • Hyperfuel Refinery

  • Hyperion
    Hyperion is a moving metal that captures the attention of any onlookers.
    Buildings:
    • Hyperion Gathering Facility
    • Hyperion Theater (different in special cases, like for gestalts and megacorps)

  • Conscious Dust
    Conscious Dust isn't actually dust, but a neural connection that simulates consciousness. And it looks very much like dust.
    Buildings:
    • Dust Gathering Site
    • Dust Research Facility

  • Stalinium
    Stalinium is an alloy that can be used for heavy industry, and for military vehicles.
    Buildings:
    • Stalinium Mega-Forge
    • Stalinium Armory
    Also unlocks 'Stalinium Warform' army (12 max per building)

  • Kruppstahl
    Kruppstahl is similar to Stalinium in many ways, although better for military uses and less applicable to industry.
    Buildings:
    • Kruppstahl Hyper-Foundry
    • Kruppstahl Armory
    Also unlocks 'Kruppstahl Exotrooper' army (30 max per building)

  • Tachyon
    Tachyon are particles that move faster than light itself. They come in very handy for long distance communication.
    Buildings:
    • Tachyon Collider
    • Tachyon Teleportation Beam
    • Tachyon Uplink

Exotic Phenomena
These deposits have a bit of base production and they are local. No resources can be mined, but special buildings can be constructed.

  • Blood River
    The mixture of oxidized iron, salt and various minerals cause this river to look like blood. It can be a potent fertilizer.
    Buildings:
    • Blood River Canals

  • Frozen Bubbles
    Spots of frozen methane gas accumulated in the waters of this planet. They are highly flammable.
    Buildings:
    • Frozen Gas Extraction Facility

  • Pillars of Light
    When the crystallized water in the air falls downward, it creates a magnificent sight.
    Buildings:
    • Weather Phenomenon Observatory

  • Turquoise Ice
    [The water here contains exotic crystals. When they freeze, they are breathtaking to look at./i]
    Buildings:
    • Turquoise Ice Mining Rig

  • Bioluminescent Ocean
    The waters in this place are illuminated by the microbial lifeforms within. They not only make the ocean pretty, but can also serve as a food source.
    Buildings:
    • Bioluminiscent Fishing Bay

  • Portal to Hell
    It seems that a dimensional rift is located on this planet. The other side may only be described as 'hell'.
    Buildings:
    • Hell Portal Research Site

  • Anomalous Zone
    This place is full of mystery and danger. It is also filled with strange artifacts.
    Buildings:
    • Anomalous Zone Exploration Base

Special buildings should appear on planets with the exotic resources

Hi! Great Mod btw. So I have plutonium on one of my planets. Ive unlocked and resarched the tech to extract it, built the buildings to mine it, but it does't seem to generate any plutonium for use. I love how you tied the extraction to existing buildings/mechanics, but it does't seem to work. I have other exotic resources (ex vantablack, tachyon, etc) they generate just fine but the plutonium isn't working.

I have the same issue.

is there any way to increase the spawn chance of the resource deposits? I've never encountered them in any of my runs, though this may also be a conflict or bug.

The mod is abandoned and apparently doesn't work. No resources will spawn.
