The Jimothy Guarantee (copy my mods)
I'm fine with people making updated, fixed and altered versions of my mods. I'm also fine with people integrating systems from my mods into their mods. If I've said I have an idea for one of my mods or a new mod and never actually acted on it, and you want to make that, feel free to that as well. Looking at the code of my mods might be a good way to learn how to mod, for anyone who's new to it.

The only thing I'm not fine with is if someone just copies and pastes one of my mods without changing anything. If lots of people do that cos it's easy, then players could be inundated with identical choices, and worse yet prevented from finding the cases where someone has taken the time to actually improve or fix something broken about a mod, which are the mods that could offer them a better experience.

I likely won't ever fully update all of my mods, or implement every idea I have for them. There's like 60 of them, plus I just won't spend much time modding anymore as I want to use the time I have off from work, school and having a life to develop my youtube channel and write books. If I get the modding itch again, I'd rather make a new mod than update an existing one, unless I'm adding something new to the existing one, because making new things is fun for me whereas fixing existing things feels like a chore. I deliberately don't set up a patreon or other way to make money off my mods specifically to avoid being obligated to maintain or make mods, so it can always just be a hobby.
