Can you turn off the Half-life 2 pick up hud?
I was wondering if its possible to change the item pick up stuff back to Gmod's one instead of HL2's?

You can turn off individual HUD elements on the HUD's options menu. You can access it through the icon on the context menu. Go to the HudLayout tab, select HistoryResource and untick 'visible'.
