So, fully charged down special now just goes into an infinite raging demon type attack thing, it never ends but it looks cool!

Fun to play regardless, well done! The new rockets are sooo satisfying to land

taunt sound plays multiple times, and down air doesnt have the smashing sound effect.

i like some of the flair added to some of the moves, but the old brighter jet flames were better honestly, the new ones kinda look like cheese.

I like the faster down strong and up tilt as down strong is now a tool that you can actually use. The rest are either meh or should just be changed back, like the sounds, so most of the new sounds kinda remove the impact the moves had like dash attack and airdodge. The new up special is alright i like the peach hover thing, which means Mecha is really good at horizontal movement. But the move going up is reduced for some reason, making Mecha kinda bad in vertical movement, down special doesnt really help for recovering as well since it pushes you back after landing in the wall and the flame should change back to the original colour as well. And also found a bug with fully charged down special, once the time stop ends and it does its multiple hits, it just wont stop and goes on and on and probably forever. But anyways i am shocked that this character is getting an update even after so long, very nice.

So here's my impression on the update so far.

-New Up-B is way cooler, both grounded and mid-air versions

-Voice clip RNG might be a little low. He barely speak with voices ON.

-Holding taunt cause Mecha to say his line repeatedly.

-Mecha always face left after mid-air Neutral-B

-Charged Down-Special softlock into an infinite beatdown.

-The new fire propeller effect could be a tad brighter in my opinion.

Have you tried hitting them really hard when they're above 100%?

For the voice stuff, it's hard a balance and I always had it set to a number picker of zero to three, which I personally think is fine, but I mean if anyone else has an issue with him not talking enough then maybe I'll bring it down to two?
As for the neutral special turning... that's my bad, it got lost in the list of things to fix. But in the next patch I'll for sure fix it!

Another bug I found is the victory theme doesn't play. The result screen plays an error sound instead.

Here's a few things I've picked up with the bug of aerial Neutral-Special around.

-When facing right, Mecha Sonic turns left at the end of N-Special unless you hold left.
-When facing left, Mecha Sonic will turn right if left is held.

This does not happen when Mecha Sonic lands during his aerial N-Special

Here's more bug testing regarding the perfect dodge:

All perfect dodges, grounded or air-born will teleport Mecha Sonic to the right, regardless of the direction he faces or the direction input.

On the ground, Mecha will still turn around when performing forward dodges even though he will reappear to the right, so that part works as intended, the issue is only that all perfect dodges go right.

I got this idea, basically two actually. ok so what if theres an alt where mecha sonic becomes metallix from the new smbz, oh- and what if your at one stock and do the time stop thing, you instead become super mecha sonic, free turbo mode and buffs for a good uhhhh, 50 seconds, oh and if you press down special and hold it down in this form, mecha sonic does an actual raging demon

Sorry my dude, but that can't happen. Unless someone wants to draw everything? Cause it's all me, and I don't do sprite art. I edit existing sprites though.

Super Mecha is coming, but it won't function like that.

The only problem is that the ball is now very uncontrollable, it only increases a little bit the precision when using the ball and all this mecha jewel, the truth surprised me the update, I did not expect it, thanks for correcting the special upwards, I owe you a quesadilla.

2.2 seems pretty good to me. The only remaining bug I can find now is that the perfect dodge always teleports to the right (both grounded and mid-air versions.)
Besides that, Awesome job all around!

Anyone knows what happened to the Super Mecha Sonic skin? That skin was my favorite in previous versions but im not sure why was removed
