From jestre_the_grandest_fool, RW discord:
Spears in walls showed a white square instead of a spear.

Update: should be fixed in version 0.6.1.

I wanted to let you know cause I was having a hard time figuring out what was making my game crash. But apparently, this mod makes the game crash whenever you touch the blue and beige tentacles that are inside of Five Pebbles. No idea why, given that this is a UI mod. But yeah, thought you'd like to know!

Just tested it, didn't crash. Can you please show a call stack of the crash? Does the issue go away if you turn off this mod specifically?
I encountered the same problem as P-Wave. After checking the console, I found that the mod's "ObjectIcon.GetSpriteNameAndColor" method triggered a null reference error when calling the original "CreatureSymbol.SymbolDataFromCreature" method, known as a NullReferenceException. I think the crash may have been caused by passing an empty 'creature' parameter. Perhaps hanging a hook on the original method and returning the default value directly after determining that the parameter is empty can help solve this bug.

I'll have a look. Thank you for the detailed description!

XuYangJerry, can you please also describe what you were doing at the moment of the crash?
Just grabbing tentacles in Five Pebbles?
Is there a specific room, or does it happen for any tentacles?
What character did you play as?

I am sorry that I only left the console image with the error message and I am unable to reproduce this issue at the moment. If I encounter it again, I will provide timely feedback with more complete information.
