Suggestions
Hello Everyone,

Here you can comment any potential additions to the mod! I am mainly looking for shipsets and species additions. Remember that creator permission must be acquired in order for me to be able to use it in the mod. Thank you everyone and I look forward to your suggestions!

The Animated Slime and Animated Grey Goo portraits Etiluos seem perfect for the Ameboid category and robots for said category. Etiluos also has quite a few others and the last one was January, so probably is still active. Maybe they will let you use the older ones at least?

The Aquatic Portraits Mod by jaypeejamilson is another contender. It actually came out before the Aquatics DLC and end up covering almost entirely different animal inspirations. Hasn't really been updated in some time other than keeping it currently to the new patches.

I'll try to dig up some much older stuff.

Silfae would be the ultimate win, but Silfae hasn't been active in years and I'm not sure if it's even possible to contact them. I might see about make a patch that adds them in that way, if that is okay.

Hello Catwhowalksbyhimself,

1) I do very much like the Animated Slime and Animated Grey Goo portraits, I'll ask and see if Etiluos will allow tthem to be use in Species of Stellaris.

2) I like this one too! Might be more difficult to attempt animation, but worth a shot. I'll request permission and see what happens from there.

3) Silfae indeed has some of the best species on the Workshop. But, due to their inactivity, gaining permission would be impossible. My interest in Silfae's mods would of lied with the Silicoids, Synthetics, Octee-lan and Holospheres.

A few more suggestion from way back.

There's The Pallid by Krabiel. Only portrait they ever made. No sure if contactable.

dogkisser's got a couple of other decent portraits, since you already have permission for the synthetic pack.

Anthropods Plus by Alex and Hirvia. Has some interesting cityscapes as well. Alex seems to be the main artist and seems to still be active.

One last one: Distant Creature by Ginufe. Not sure if active, but the mod has been abandoned so it seems perfect.

Don't want to flood your suggstion box, so I'll leave it at that.

You can make your own merger mod if you would like to. Would be cool to see all them in action. I requested permission for dogkissers other mods and he said it was fine, so I'll implement them next patch. Anthropods Plus is interesting, the CityScape there is different in a good way. I like the Distant Creature and Pallid as well, I'll request permission for those.

Getting Silfae's all added would be incredible, I love the portraits but having to order like 24 separate mods to have them on a recent patch is too much.

You'd still have to do that, as Silfae isn't around to ask, so it would be a patch on top of all the mods.

I'm less certain about doing it now in any case.

Would licensing be permissive of you integrating them in her absence and just remove it if she asks you to?

Oh, how about all of the dimorphism portrait mods? That would be nice to be integrated.

As well as Twink's other species mods, like the Dessanu, IAAT etc?

Hello Everyone,

I updated Species of Stellaris with some new goodies. Cuelan and Peglaci (Now Animated!) Species by dogkisser has been implemented. Along Animated Slime and Animated Grey Goo by Etiluos! The Aquatic Portraits Mod by jaypeejamilson was also implemented, fully animated portraits as well!

Unfortunately it looks like all the dimorphism mods are Silfae's that have just been "adopted" multiple times along the way.

This sort of collated a lot of the orphaned ones.

Best suggestion I guess is add them and remove if someone objects

I noticed my game was crashing whenever I clicked on my home planet at the start of the game, I narrowed it down to this mod. It was disappointing because I really love the snowman alien portrait it has.

Nice! I'm glad you were able to get the necessary permissions for all of these. Some real gems here.

And animated the Aquatic Portraits is really cool.

@Dizzard - I do like the Cyrogenesis package, however it seems the author does not what other creators using his assets. Quote - (PLEASE DO NOT REPACK THIS MOD, AND DO NOT USE ANY OF THE CONTENT OF IT WITHOUT PERMISSION (That means creating sub-mods or reusing art))
