It would logically have a much smaller clip, since it holds less shots, and frankly if it's going to be in-line with the revolvers already in the game, it should reload the whole clip at once. I'd say use Spy's revolvers as a base and go from there. Rapid fire on a revolver is an interesting mechanic and frankly would work as the main upside, but -10% metal capacity would ensure nobody ever uses this thing ever. Even for battle engie, dealing more damage with a secondary than the Pistol is never, under any circumstances, worth having less metal with which to perform all the basic functions of your class. If I had to choose a main downside, I'd say less damage when not using the alt-fire, which would make it worse for potshots across the map while making it a menace at mid-range, which is fittingly about the range where you'd have a western-style duel.

So, I have some ideas for weapons, but A: I can't make weapon models. And B: I can't find an site to upload my ideas to steam. So, here's a set I think would be nice:

The Death Toll: Melee Weapon for Medic, Spy, and Scout. The Death Toll inflicts “Marked for Death” on the target, but has a 5% slower swing speed, and if you miss, you are marked for death. If you get a kill with this weapon, your movement speed is increased by 2%. This stacks until death, and stacks up to 14%. Description: The Death Toll looks like a Christmas Bell with a kitchen knife strapped to the bottom of the handle. The second style makes the bell look rusty, and the final style makes both the knife’s blade and the bell look rusty and bloody respectively.
The Pirate’s Boomstick: A primary shotgun for Engineer, and a secondary for Heavy, Soldier, and Pyro. The Pirate’s Boomstick has a 50% damage buff, and a 15% damage resistance, but it has a 50% slower deployment speed, a 25% slower holster speed, no random crits, and only has one shell in the barrel at a time. Description: A typical 18th century Blunderbuss, but with team-colored cloth on the barrel, and a wooden stock.
The Flint-Shot: A Primary weapon for Spy, and a Secondary weapon for Engineer and Scout. A Powerful, single-shot pistol that rewards accuracy over blind constant firing. 60% damage buff, a 15% reload speed increase on hit, and a 20% faster movement speed on kill for 5 seconds. However, there is only one shot in the clip, a 30% slower reload speed, and a 10 health decrease. Description: A typical 16th-century, single barrel flintlock pistol. Part of a set: The First Mate. The Pirate’s Boomstick, The Flint-Shot, The Death Toll, and The World Traveler's Hat. Leave a calling card on your victim. (A Small Pirate Flag.)

Sorry if it seems that I'm trying to take over this discussion, I'm just trying to find creators who have made really good looking items so that they can do it properly.

i think auto reload should be turned off automatically while using this weapon, and then you can remove the "cant stop firing until clip is empty" stat! Doing this would also be accurate to real fanning.
