Yeah had the same, didn't know there was such an event. You can either use Vanilla Events Expanded to increase or decrease the odds of any event from any mod (this mod included) from happening or even completely disable events of your choosing, or you can use the Incident Tweaker mod.. I think it does sort of the same thing.
