Also a version of Ruined Realm that removes free cities all together. Since you can't currently play with both No Free Cities and Ruined Realm together at the moment

Maybe a modifier, that if caught in places without shade (i.e. planes, grassland, mountains, etc) you would take damage per turn, but regen whilst in shaded places (underworld, forest, etc)
Land Of Rain - It will always be raining, reducing enemy vision by 3 and leaving them susceptable to lightning attacks. However frogkin units and leaders benefit from it; gaining 20 HP regenerated at the end of each turn.
Overly plentiful resources - modifies resources X10
Overly large map - Modifies the largest maps to be X20.
Astute Mind - Research is instantly completed in 0 turns and does not affect world summoning points, furthermore you now have access to all tomes in the research tree.
NG+ Realm: You take all past improvements and past tome abilities, any gear, and unit unlocks / spell unlocks, and hero gear, with you into the new realm.For the avid collector who sticks to one hero.
