Events suggestions
Please post descriptions of events you would like to see revamped/changed! It's better if you have a name, post it here (even better if you have an ID!), but a general explanation could also work.

I wanted to do something like this myself, but I have no idea how, so I'm glad you're working on this. Thank you so much.

Events that I like to be tuned down/turned off:

- The beating: education event- absolutely horrible, random guy beats up your kids, no matter how brave, vengeful, bossy etc. they are, without being able to perform any sort of retaliation. You probably know what I mean.

- Random courtier yelling at you in frustration without being able to chastise them in return.

- Whenever you sway someone, you have the option to throw money at them, "take this gold and make sure you're heard" or something. Absolutely useless.

- Basically any mindless adultery event, be it with your beneficiary while making artifacts. I also want to turn down the events where someone wants to romance you. There's always that stupid event chain where you have to click 3 times before you have the option to reject.

I could probably go on for another half hour if I think about it, but those are the most annoying right now. Thanks for reading! ;)

This isn't a rebalance, but is there by chance any way to stop the auto-pause that occurs after the poem dedicated to you event?

I would guess it's hardcoded depending on the type of event, but I will look into this as well, thanks

I really like what you are doing here.
I saw your comments on the childhood events. As a personal preference, I would rather not get a chance to re-roll the childhood traits after the event - rolling with the personality traits is part of what makes the game interesting. It also seems to veer away from the initial intention of the mod, fixing up broken/annoying events.
Having said that, some areas in childhood events that could do with a tweak - sometimes you get the same choice of traits repeatedly, so you are effectively forced into a set of traits. Most noticeable when they are all "bad" to some extent. If there was a way to avoid that, it would be good.
Also as you have noted, it would be nice if there was some way to deal with a childhood bully, either as a child or adult, particularly when the bully is a random peasant or baron's son. Actually, maybe just having the bully make sense would be nice (ie same age or older for a start).

Thanks for reaching out! I totally agree that rolling with bad events is the way game is supposed to be played. I don't want to just give player a reroll button, but a bit more reactivity in the usually repetetive childhood personality events, a bit like it was in ck2 (where you could influence child into something else than given event if you had right traits), but with stress cost and some stat checks instead.

I also think that it keeps to the core idea of the mod: making the game feel right. Currently a lot of events lack proper response from guardian, and I hope to improve on it. Naturally, it's important to not just make every heir perfect, so I am currently thinking what is the best way to approach it.

Thanks for taking the time to respond - sounds like you have some good ideas and balancing in mind.
