Will try this out in the next update!
Reducing his damage taken penalty in a fair way is the primary goal of the next update.
I've actually considered this and gone back and forth, but ultimately I don't believe it matches the idea that only a stand user can harm stands. King Crimson is intended to be used as a shield in neutral against projectiles. He also severely reduces the hitlag of moves when you hit him during a combo, so he shouldn't impact melee moves all that much.
This point does sound right, but when you play a Diavolo ditto, the stands cannot hit each other. Perhaps you could make a variable where the Stands have a "stand hit box" that allows other stands to hit it? like a "can_hit_stand = true" or something. I don't know if that's how coding works, but I do feel like it should be given a shot.
ohh but even with so little I've already said too much
I'm new to this game just beeen playing with some friends and since we all use modded characters and have fun, I wanted to kinda understand how you use this character, would it be okay if you put some basic guide? Because sometimes I have trouble figuring out how to fight with him (Also this is just a personal thing but maybe making it so desummoning KC doesn't take any frames or something of the like)
Check out the Diavolo guide here!

Also, desummoning is pretty fast, especially in combo,, sadly I can't make it faster or it ends up being very cheap for certain frame data reasons.
