Bug Reports
Any lengthy bug reports can be posted here. Generally, the more information given, the easier it will be for me to fix. Some good starting info is:
  • The weapon used
  • Any other weapons that hero has experience for
  • The ability/attack used
  • The class and passive abilities of the hero
  • The enemy involved, if any

This bug occurs during Archer Stance + Water Bow + Stunt Activation, very specific as it allows the character an extra action. I've noticed that on the extra action, an entire column of range is shaved off. Example: If there were 4 columns of range on the first fire of the Archer Stance + Water Bow, there are now only 3 columns of range.

The armor I had on was Swashbuckler - which increases the chance of Stunt on kill. When the character got their 2nd action, that's when I noticed the missing range.

Equipped: Water Bow (no lvl up exp); Sword (no lvl up exp)

Water Bow + Archer Stance + Stunt activated

Hey Snapple, thanks for the bug report. Do you think you could grab a screenshot of the before and after of how the range looks visually? I have an inkling of what is going on, but want to make sure I understand what you mean by columns of range before I act on it.

I have an issue where using the Snakebite ability says its a swift action but ends my turn on use. I also don't know what Elemental Boon is. As all the ability does is give me momentum and nothing called Elemental Boon.

The weapon used:
Water Dagger Tier 2 & 3

Any other weapons that hero has experience for:
Bow

The ability/attack used:
Snakebite

The class and passive abilities of the hero:
Hunter, Rogue+, Thornfang, long reach

Being given Overreach penalty when attacking multiple two square+ foes with two handed ax and broadswipe even then both foes are diagonally adjacent to my character and so shouldn't be procing Overreach I think.

The weapon used:
Morthagi camp artifact ax

Any other weapons that hero has experience for:
sword/one handed ax

The ability/attack used:
broadswipe

The class and passive abilities of the hero:
Broadswipe+, Zealous Leap, Battledance+

Two more possible Bugs. Broadswipe now only Procs once when using a Greataxe and the Broadswipe skill instead of I assume twice as its suppose to.

Broadswipes+, Zealous Leap


Light Spears have Rapid strike doubled on the weapon card and attack twice on miss for a total of three attacks.

@Ragnin thank you for all the bug reports, they've been very helpful!

I know what's causing the spear one, that is a silly mistake I made last second, I'll get a fix uploaded for that one soon.

For the Broadswipes one, in the fix I most recently did, I merged the main attack and the greataxe's Broadswipe into being the same animation, instead of two separate hits like before. (I also could not reproduce unintended behavior using that setup) Could you double check to see if the damage is correctly being applied from the axe's swipe first?

(Essentially, the intended order is: Swing axe: target takes full damage, everyone else in range takes partial. Secondary swing: everyone in range takes Broadswipes damage)

Yes with that knowledge Broadswipe appears to be working as intended I think.

I have been playing with this mod for months now and enjoy it immensely. However, the 1-handed spears are still rather buggy.

First of all: if a character wielding a 1h spear misses with Rapid Strike, then Rapid Strike repeats over and over until the target is dead. After that, for the rest of the battle, Rapid Strike ALWAYS repeats until the target is dead.

It's actually a bug that's more like a cheat, so maybe some folks won't like that I've reported it. ;) But I am pretty sure this behavior is not intended.

The other 1h spear bug that I've encountered has to do with Omenroad. If a character wielding a 1h spear targets an Omenroad boss--honestly even if you just hover your mouse cursor over the boss with the spear-wielder active--the game immediately crashes. I'm attempting to get the Peril 20 achievement (yeah I like punishment I guess) so I've played a *lot* of Omenroad, and at this point, I just avoid attacking with 1-handed spear during the final battle of an Omenroad run.

Crossing fingers that the mod is still being actively supported because I consider it essential to my enjoyment of Wildermyth at this point. <3

Honestly more than anything I've been too busy to support or develop this mod further, but I bet something about the code Rapid Strike used changed after Omenroad, it should only ever trigger once then stop. If I find time in the next week-ish I can take a quick look, though I'm not guarentee-ing any fix. We'll see if it's something easy I can tackle over a weekend.
