Announcements: Critiques, and new creature ideas
Hi all.

I don't think this will gain much traction, as the commenting and downloads of this mod have died down quite a bit. However, as I'm going to start having much more free time due to my Graphic Design degree being complete this year, I would love to add more creature ideas as a separate mod so I can beef up my portfolio and get some game studio/concept art stuff under my belt.

I will be developing the new mod by myself (of course, separate from this), intending to be an expansion and as vanilla friendly as possible. I have quite a few ideas myself, particularly expansions on preexisting creatures, but I'm interested if anyone has ideas on new creatures to be designed from the ground up.

If I do end up using anyone's request, rest assured the idea will be accredited to you in any portfolio the design ends up in. I will let you know if I plan on using an idea of yours, as well!

What about a creature that if it gets close to you it appears in your inventory (and throws something out if its full) and slowly starts draining all your oxygen, welding fuel and batteries and stuff? And perhaps even jam your radio? Could probably look similiar to leukocytes, just a slow moving but small enemy, can be easily avoided but is detrimental if you dont. Perhaps you need to go on land to suffocate it if its in your inventory

Ofc that is if any of this is possible. Its quite the jump ffrom a retexture I imagine, and not even sure if its possible with baro to begin with lmao. That does sound pretty possible. Kinda sounds similar to LC snare fleas, which seems pretty doable. Coding in the oxygen low affliction sounds possible, but draining the condition of welding fuel tanks and batteries seems pretty hard when in contact (might have to do some LUA ♥♥♥♥ for it). I'd have to take a look at the latter a lot more but otherwise it seems pretty doable.
