It was admittedly not listed as a dependency on the main mod page, but either way, easy to solve.
I do have timmehs visual mods, and I believe tall ruins installed, maybe they mess with something, though I do not see how. Also someone else reported the same bug on the main page of your mod. It simply happened during the AIs turn. Great mod either way.
Also please try the same with just my listed mods and their dependencies, to see if it might actually be because of some visual error. The Bug and the message you reported actually does look like a visual error-message...
EDIT: also checked your "it was no listed" ... it is listed as a dependency for my mod :)
It appears the crash isn't solely tied to this submod, but rather the main callipygian mod. I and also others appear to have experienced the same crash. And it appears localised to the Astra Militarum faction and their units, as the crash doesn't seem to occur other than through that faction.
EDIT: I finally understand what is causing it, and I am looking into a fix. Might take some work though.
EDIT2: For me the patch I uploded did fix the problem, as I moved the Gunners Kill On Sight ability of all units to active instead of passive, since somehow the AI tries to use it actively, which crashes the game. Played until Turn 100 with and against Astra Militarum without a crash. Please try and see if it works for you too, if not let me know as soon as possible :)
Someone on the main callipygian mod page suggested to; Edit Data/World/Units/AstraMilitarum/TankCommander.xml in the mod folder, replace "gunnersKillOnSight" (case sensitive!) to "genericUnitAbility".
Also a minor bug, at least on my end, is of the tau not being able to recruit the stormsurge, I assume because the technology to unlock it doesn't exist/is replaced with the taunar research?
