Further tweaks and suggestions.
Go ahead and use this thread to post things you'd like tweaked in terms of balancing for a more "lore" friendly feel. This isn't meant to be entirely a proper 100% game balance patch but to bring things closer to how things are in the actual lore.

Also what do y'all think of the following?

Future Changes
- First priority is to focus on rebels next and tweaking weapon damage outputs overall.
- Add/Alter words used in certain dialogue to use more Star Wars terminology. E.g. Mando's will use more Mando'a terms (Mandalorian language, think Cone Wars Republic Commando's calling each other "Ner vod".). Swear words [might change the terms in the censored dialogue version instead of uncensored dialogue] will be changed to ones used in lore, etc. E.g. Poodoo, Bantha fodder, Fierfek... *Cough* Nerf Herder.
- Re-texturing Lightsaber beams to give them a little more of a fake glow if possible. (As original mod dev stated, glow cannot be added due to engine constraints. But as an artist I'll be damned if I can't make them at least have more glow with drawn shading tricks.)

The E-11 is currently weaker than blasters that its been said it is stronger than like the DH-17. I would suggest maybe a damage buff to the E-11's and nerf precision maybe? Or maybe give it a bonus damage against humanoids or something

That is a really good point! I haven't tweaked weapons yet outside of lightsabers so I will look into it and the rest of the blasters for the next update. Thanks for the input.

In terms of "Lore Friendly" tweaks, I think you should tweak the jedi and sith robes at some point. As it stands, the main effects on the jedi gear is only on the robe which increases dodge and dexterity by 10%, gives fists 100% protections, and +4 to attack and defense stats. VERY on brand, but it just feels strange to leave the pants and boots out of the equation. In fact, the boots reduce Athletics by 6% and stealth by 19%. I don't imagine the Jedi or Sith wore any gear that would slow them down or make them any less acrobatic/sneaky. At any rate, I just think maybe instead of leaving the entire buff to the robe, split it between the three pieces of gear so that you have to be fully geared to receive the full benefits of being a jedi/sith. And maybe slightly increase the total boost to further reward people for wearing the complete set. Just a thought!

Also... You didn't change teh stack size for the animal bones. This makes me very sadge lol. Unless I somehow flubbed it.

Oh I'll look into the animal bone stacking, haven't touched those in game yet so didn't even know there was a problem there. Also good point on the Jedi set! I was thinking on doing something similar to a few more "rarer/iconic" sets but my mind has just been ignoring the jedi clothing for whatever reason lol, so most likely next update will have those changes and the animal bone stacking implemented. Been working on two mini side projects including a super mini movie trailer style video with the mod so my mod tweaks have slowed down haha.

Just a final note regarding the boots: I found the Red Sabres in the swamp wear these short combat boots which don't afford nearly as much protection as the jedi boots. BUT... they increase combat speed by 2% and athletics by 5%... Just feels silly to give a Jedi a debuff when compared to this lol

Oh were those the sneaker looking shoes? Lol pfff yeah i think i saw those recently. Definitely will be making Jedi sets better than a pair of van’s.

I wish I could post screenshots. I looked at the code and it seems that Jedi Boots aren't marked as having a debuff to Athletics? Like, the value is 1 (no change) and the stealth is 0.9 (10% reduction). They're high grade. I'm just kinda confused as to what determines the debuff. Is it like, "The better the protection, the slower you are," sorta deal? Oh Kenshi, how I wish I knew how you worked lol

Edit: I think I figured it out maybe. The boots are the only gear that is marked as medium armor. All other jedi pieces are marked as light armor. I'm sure there's some Kenshi coding that says "If medium, then slower than light" kinda thing.

Yeah kenshi adjusts stats based on armor type both class and material. So you have to combat this via buffs or debuffs sadly. Is why I’ve tweaked the same armors several times before. So if you don’t want any or barely any debuff on standard gear you have to buff multipliers a bit. This’ll make specialist and master gear insane though depending if the buff you made keeps stacking or levels out at max level. Though I’m ok with prototype or shoddy gear being a bit detrimental since, well “shoddy” says it in the name. Not good lol

After playing around in Bast, I think Rebel battle armor is a bit overtuned. I realize they should be tough, but the Rebels are winning every fight, and even one squad is able to do serious damage when wandering near a imperial city. The Battle Armor dudes just refuse to die and since they have such solid stats 4 of them can take out 10+ Regular stormtroopers with minimal damage.

Alright duly noted! Thanks for letting me know since I haven’t seen that happen myself just yet. The fights I’ve seen lately have been between elite troops. Or if there are battle troops, they're usually in melee and don't seem so OP then.

Hah well apparently I never directly touched pierce damage, idk if I did this on purpose or forgot to. But all I have changed is the melee buffs as the default mod has these troops having better harpoon armor than storms. What I'll do is tune it down, though I won't tank the defense a huge amount as this specific armor set was made to be good in lore contrary to most other suits rebels used. Let's see how they perform after this tweak.

Since Battle armor is one of the rarer metal plate crafted armors for rebels the way the game scaled its defense was way too good lol

This is a base mod thing but either battle or assault armour segments don't stack, but the others do. so I don't know if you should fix it yet becasue kitaya might and then your patch may conflict by overwriting aka undoing. You'll have to keep an eye on that sort of thing but you seem to be up to it.
[related] The most unspoiler version I can do:
Fabric, Raw Iron, Assault Armour Segment, Battle Armour Segment, Steel Bar, Animal Bone, Leather, Blaster Parts, (two parts related to crafting that but I forget)

These are the new machines' ingredients in case any of those don't stack as well, I'm pretty sure all except battle segment and bone do.

I think a cool thing to add in this mod would be the ability for lightsabers to deflect blaster bolts as in fights jedi especially struggle against them since they stop and do the force grab animation. I do not know how that wold work and maybe it would be leveled with block.
Another idea i have thought about playing with this mod would be a force stat and some special race that can level it and all other races have a times 0 modifier on it, and as you level it you get new force moves and other stuff like lighting if sith or healing if a jedi, just ideas though.

I love those ideas, but sadly most of that is prevented because of game engine limitations. The closest one could get is making a race that has race advantage on melee combat and that's about it. I wish i could add deflecting to lightsabers but that's why even the base mod has it so jedi outfits have really high harpoon/pierce resistance compared to other sets because they can't deflect bolts.
