Headcrab Takeover (Zombie Overhaul)
What other people and me think should be in this mod.
1.I think there should be a feature where if a headcrab latches onto somebody while they are driving a buggy or any type of car they would be infected then the zombie would drive into its foes and if a building is breakable it could crash into it and the zombie would be driving diffriently then the normal one for example the fast zombie would crash it then jump out after a foe gets near for the poison zombie when the car crashes the poison headcrabs that(could be on it)fly off of the car including the headcrab that taken over the person.2.i wish that sometimes the zombie would keep the weapon in its hand allowing it to shoot it but it would be random for the gun to go off.3.other people should post their ideas on this.

Sorry for the late reply as I've somehow only just now seen this.
This seems like something that would be extremely difficult to do. I just don't really use cars in this game all that often to justify trying to do all of this, as awesome as it sounds, so I don't think I'll be doing it.

This is something I'm actively trying to figure out how to do. Can't guarantee I'll be able to do it though.

The poison zombie headcrabs should slowly grow instead of instantly appearing. I'd recommend just making a small black lump model on the spine bone and increasing its scale over time, then once it hits a certain scale just remove it and enable the headcrab.

Also another suggestion, hl2 styled gonarch, also an option for gonarchs to throw baby headcrabs that age into different variety's of headcrab

I'll keep these ideas in mind.
I would eventually like to try making custom NPCs, especially if it means being able to organically spawn the different headcrabs variants in a way that's both cool and makes sense.

Not entirely sure what you're suggesting, are you asking to make headcrabs latch on living NPCs, turning them into "zombies" that can use guns and such?

you completely misunderstood me i meant that it does not actually mutate them into the zombie model and instead it keeps the bonemerged looking model instead with the headcrab and the zombie claws just keeping the original body i want it to be kinda like the bsmod headcrab latching with the l4d animations and stuff just look up bsmod headcrab conversion on youtube and you would see what i mean

i wish there was instead of the y,know you could make it like headcrabs + and make the person fall front face or backwards this would be better then them like just leaning over and this would make more sense.

This is already implemented. When a headcrab jumps on a character that has a non-HL2 model, what you described will happen. I'm assuming you just want a setting for this to happen for HL2 NPCs instead of using the default zombie model (+ eventual relevant skin if sabrean's mod is installed)?

This is being worked on and will be implemented eventually.

I wish headcrabs could latch onto bodies, I'm trying to make a black mesa scenario starting with one zombie but it just kills everyone and the new headcrabs cant become zombies

You can use an NPC spawner add-on for that :)
