Sorry for the late reply as I've somehow only just now seen this.
This seems like something that would be extremely difficult to do. I just don't really use cars in this game all that often to justify trying to do all of this, as awesome as it sounds, so I don't think I'll be doing it.
This is something I'm actively trying to figure out how to do. Can't guarantee I'll be able to do it though.
Also another suggestion, hl2 styled gonarch, also an option for gonarchs to throw baby headcrabs that age into different variety's of headcrab
I'll keep these ideas in mind.
I would eventually like to try making custom NPCs, especially if it means being able to organically spawn the different headcrabs variants in a way that's both cool and makes sense.
Not entirely sure what you're suggesting, are you asking to make headcrabs latch on living NPCs, turning them into "zombies" that can use guns and such?
This is being worked on and will be implemented eventually.
