Mount & Blade: Warband

The Last Days of the Third Age
Should Dol Amroth be its own faction?
Since Gundabad and Moria got buffed to make the war in the north not as one sided, should Dol Amroth be split off into its own faction like in TA:DaC to help the Free Peoples in the south? Most of the groups who were treated as subfactions in games like BFME (Dunlendings, the Easterlings and Southrons, Dale, etc) are their own factions, and while Gondor's fiefdoms having their own cultures makes them stand out in that regard, it is a 2v6 in the south and I often see Gondor getting steamrolled. A third faction in the south might help balance things the same way buffing Moria and Gundabad did in the north, and since Dol Amroth, Edhellond and Tarnost are already present, it wouldn't require the addition of any new centers (Edhellond, Tarnost and Linhir already stick out as they provide generic Gondor troops instead of fiefdom soldiers).

No. It's not meant ot be "balanced".

Then why buff Gundabad and Moria?

Because they needed it, in our opinion. Also it was quite a while ago.
