Report a translation problem
Faction AI should be recalculated at least every 36 hours for all theaters, so they might redecide if you wait for a bit longer. If that doesn't help, you can use the Cheat menu to force a siege, or to defeat Gundabad as a faction.
@Dexter There is no such limitation to the marshall party, so please do not spread misinformation.
Appreciate the response, and knowing that's how it works I think it makes sense now. I continued with my campaign as normal, and about an in-game week after this post it looks like one final Erebor party arrived and I got a notification about the siege commencing. I'm still not entirely sure why the other factions never sieged the outpost but with Gundabad destroyed it didn't matter.
I finished the campaign a couple days ago with no other issues. Cool mod!
