Suggesting Siege Bug
I was playing Isengard and suggested Mog siege East Emmet, but all he did was stand in front of the town for a few days (he never actually sieged it). Then Dunland came over, actually sieged it, and Mog just ran off with the entire Isengard army. Dunland of course had 1/4 the army Isengard did and couldn't fight off Theoden's counter attack.

Has anyone else encountered this? It feels really hard to make any progress when the mechanics for forcing sieges and breaking AI stalemates don't work.

Weirdly enough I led Rohan in a siege of Gondor's intended target (Morannon I believe) and for the first time ever the AI allowed a mixed-army siege: Gondor and Rohan both attacked!

Needless to say the resulting battle was a walkover. It only happened that one time, though. The rest of the time a Captain, a horse, and a dream can lock out a massive horde of doom until he decides to pack it in and unlock the location for other factions to besiege.

It was just weird that Isengard got there first, but the settlement never said "Under Siege" until Dunland walked up two days later and Isengard just packed up and left.
