Mount & Blade: Warband

The Last Days of the Third Age
We are considering out next objective
Now I'm a bit in new waters here. I've been playing Warband for some time now but only recently decided to try out TLD and I'm loving it. However I've encountered a problem I can't seem to find help online for.

It's been some time in my campaign as a Woodland Real commander and though Gondor has fallen and Rohan is barely holding on, in the north the evil has been all but vanquished. Just some in-game days ago Mt. Gundabad fell to my forces and the Vale's and just now I persuaded Thranduil to siege the Main Rhun camp and we destroyed it. Only Gundabad is left and their Road Outpost was destroyed long ago.

All fine and fun, BUT the forces of the Woodland Realm and Erebor are just.. standing there. Dale's seem to be moving around still, not really sure, however King Dain II has been "Waiting" just west of Grey Mountains Gateway, Thorin seems to not be moving out of Erebor and all of my ally commanders are in the same stasis where Main Rhun Camp used to stand. I went to all of them and asked what are them and their men doing, receiving the same reply: "We are considering out next objective".

Thus we arrive at my question. Has anyone encountered this? Is this a bug or is this the way the game is meant to ...be?
Although I received news that both Rohan's last two cities were besieged, I focused on my region, thinking that once the northern threat has been defeated, Thranduil, Dain and Brand would rally their forces and march south? Although admittedly this makes returning quests hell of a lot easier, I'd still much prefer immersion over gameplay and this rather brakes it. I haven't tried making them move with influence points yet.

The beacons are lit, a fellow gamer calls for aid. :summer2019horn:

I think I know what's happening: only one faction can siege a location at a time, and the forces of a region won't move out until all enemy strongholds of that region have been wiped out. They're waiting for that last stronghold in the north to fall, then they'll plant advance camps in either Gondor or Rohan and bring the war south.

Faction AI should reset every 72 hours or so, so you may want to wait a bit longer. Also, it will take a few days until the northern factions start building advance camps in the central theatre, after Rhun and Gundabad are destroyed.

If nothing happens after a few in-game days, you can upload your savegame and I will take a look. Please create a backup of your current save, don't share the one you used to continue playing.
