Suggestions
Anything to suggest should be put here.
VScript is limited and specific things such as freely taking over bots is impossible or at least very hacky and bug-prone. As always though, I will tell you if your suggestion is feasible or not.

Option to keep starting weapons. (Added as "base")
Fire player_transitioned event on extra survivors when moving to next map.

WhangaTy
Auto-infected Balancer based on the number of survivors.
Also crucial to spawn new first-aid-kits in saferooms for extra survivors to balance this.
- Coach
Lazy chat command ways to force specific characters. !survbot now has way to force characters, and !survorder is implemented but does not change existing survivors.

I think it is important to add an "auto" option for survStartWeapons which respects/follows the weapons given by the mutation (Four Swordsmen, Death's Door...). :csgoct:

Added as "base" option for survStartWeapons.
Items in survStartWeapons can still conflict with starting weapons and I'm considering how to manage this issue, whether to not grant conflicting items, override the starting weapons, or keep it as it is which means having both with the added weapons spawning on the survivor's feet.

Yes, there is a setting to let everyone use it. (false by default)

Not the purpose of the mod, you can already do it with admin system mods. Closest would be to adjust infected spawns to compensate for the survivor count.

The "base" option still doesn't give the extra bots the weapons from DefaultItems. ;)

Fixed. The game only gave the default items to existing survivors in a strict time-frame and not the extra survivors who are spawned after that time-frame.

If you mean the survivor order that chooses who to spawn, I'll look into adding a !survorder command sometime.

idk if this would be too hard to do but in the source mod version of 8 survivors it would automatically add more Special infected to make the difficulty more balanced

Im not sure if you were to count this as part of your mod but maybe ai versus mode? have as many as you want on versus team (or 18)? idk something like that.

And 18 is the total amount of survivors and all types of special infected combined - you can't have 4 survivors and 18 special infected, it goes over the 18 limit.

Already considered, but I'm not familiar with changing director options to control infected so will likely take a while.

@CATSarekittens There is already an automatic SI manager out there: 调整特感数量、刷新频率、生成种类 MoreSI. Maybe it could be added as an optional mod.

Added two extra options to !survbot to force specific characters to spawn. Go to Technical Stuff for info on this.
