2125 Planetary Ores
This topic has been pinned, so it's probably important

Ores not showing up? Read this.
The Planetary Ores 2125 mod is an optional expansion of the Space Engineers 2125 Era Mod that allows users to find the custom Duron, Xabrium, and Lead ores on planets and moons, along with restoring Uranium to planets, and adding some bits of Platinum where it didn't exist before. The goal of this mod is to allow people access to the 2125 ores, as well as the 2 big vanilla ores of Uranium and Platinum without forcing people into space to get them all. Thus if people want a more ground based experience and don't want to leave their planet, don't like asteroid hopping as much for resources, or want to build a up a fleet of 2125 era craft to go into space prepared, etc. they're able to do so. Originally years ago earlier in the game's history you could find uranium on planets and the only ore you really needed to go to a moon or space for was Platinum. However Keen removed Uranium from planets as in part they felt people didn't have enough reason to go into space. While I understood their perspective, I disagreed with their solution of removing Uranium. Once I learned how to add ores to planets I created this mod as imagined that in the SE star system there would be at least some bits of the 2125 Duron, Xabrium and such present planet side.

With the obligatory background out of the way, If you're reading this I assume you've subscribed to the mod and are having issues getting the ores to show up and the ingots by extension. If this is the case there are a few things to try first. For these tests below you will want to make sure the baseline era mod and this mod are the only ones present for best results.

-1: Make sure the baseline Space Engineers 2125 Era Mod is given priority in loading before attempting to load this mod. This mod is completely dependent on the presence of the base 2125 mod. If the baseline mod is not present, this mod will not function and has no purpose.
-2: Make sure you're looking in the right places for the ores. The full distribution can be found in the mod description. However as a brief recap, if Xabrium isn't in its own standalone veins it can be found near gold. Lead is often found with Magnesium. Duron is often found with Cobalt. Uranium is found with Silver, and Platinum with Silicon. When doing your searching I recommend using the 2125 era ore detectors set to maximum range. This will allow you to scan a kilometer or more at a time, thus making you bound to find them sooner or later.
-3: If you have tried the above and don't see them, check the item spawning menu and see if the ores and ingots are present in that menu.
-4: If you use other mods in your server/world, start off with the baseline era mod and this mod as the only 2 present and test to see if it works. If it does then great. From there start adding your mods back one at a time or no more than a few at the time until you figure out if one of them is conflicting.

Often times if people have done all of these yet still do not see the ores, this is often because they've installed another mod that messed with planetary ore spawns. This can be a problem as most of the time the mods are not additive, meaning you can't stack mods like this on top of the other. This is due in part to how the game handles things that add ores to planets and celestial bodies.

Most of the time depending on how a mod handles its custom ores, you will have to pick and choose which mod you want to use as if you have one mod telling a planet to have X Y and Z as ores, but another mod loading in after it saying to have A B and C, then the mod that loaded last will get the final say and override the first one. As an example if those mod loads last before something such as Deep Ores, then this mod will override many of the Deep Ores settings. Likewise if Deep Ores loads after this mod, it can override the changes this mod attempts to make. As such if you're attempting to pair mods together that change the planets and celestial bodies themselves, be it this mod and another, or 2 or more mods aside from this one, there will often be incompatibility in the mods and one or the other will not work.

I realize I'm far from the only one who has tinkered with ore locations, added ores, subtracted ores, made new ingot types or so on. I also realize some people have their favorite mods they prefer to use, be it one of mine (thanks for the support if that applies to you) or that of another author. As such from time to time people may try to pair this mod with others that modify ore locations, add/subtract ores or so on. While I do not like having to tell people this, sometimes due to the nature of what each mod attempts to do, and perhaps even how the game itself handles things, certain mods simply are not compatible. In the case of this mod, it likely will not be compatible with other mods that alter planets and/or celestial bodies like moons. I wish there weren't so but unfortunately there is little to nothing I can do about that and you will have to pick nd choose which of the mods you want to use, be it sticking with mine and ditching the other, or tossing mine and sticking to the other one(s). Mods are meant to change the game in ways to make it more fun for the end user, but sometimes there are technical hurdles that cannot be easily overcome.

If you have verified all of the steps above, are absolutely sure that no other mods are conflicting or attempting to override this one and such, you are free to request assistance and let me know. If it's something on my end that can be fixed, I will do so to the best of my ability. In order to assist I will need to know what is going on, along with seeing any applicable logs relating to the potential bug/error you're experiencing. Video and photos along with logs are even better when video/photo is applicable.

Happy Hunting my fellow Engineers.
