You can somewhat fix this by equipping the mask first and then the helmet. But you have to do this every time you load the save file.

very common issue for me too, it isnt exactly game breaking but its just annoying ig

I have found if you use camera + if you zoom in pretty close it auto corrects but then when you get to the normal view it kicks back to the gasmask overlapping werid hu?

Still no fix for this? This issue was present ages ago with the original mod. I think it's crazy that no one has come up with a solid solution.

Kinda-Sorta band-aid fix that worked for me - equipping bandana from Settlers mod, that covers the jaw, then gasmask, then krieg helmet.
Facemask from Biotech DLC works too!
I use [CAT] Show Hair With Hats or Hide All Hats, Equip Gas Masks, if it matters.

UPD: Tested without EGM, kriegan gasmask fits under the helmet as long as there is something, that covers the Jaw part.
