New feature I will be working on
As soon as I have a passable knowledge of modding I am gonna try to add some new buildings for earlier era and maybe adding some Biotech Compatibility

God bless you, TheSeaMoon. Empire is one of my very favorite RimWorld mods on the workshop.

It gives me a very needed silver sink, lets me "paint the map" in my faction's color, and satisfies that strategy game itch. One early feature I am really praying for is more flags for the faction, plus more flag and symbol variety.

Maybe import some of the code in Ideology and Ideology mods to let the player customize their own faction logo plus colors? That would be wonderful. Please keep us appraised of your progress, we hope to see something good happening with this mod, at least sometime late next year.

Again, thank you, on behalf of the community. If the task is too great and complex, you can always enlist other fellow mod creators from the modding scene.

The ability to occupy settlements by using one's own characters, not just when giving the order to attack.

Could you maybe add a option for ammo (arrows in my case) to be included in the inventory of troops (Yayo's combat) mod, they now spawn without making ranged reinforcements kinda useless :)

Could you make it so you can set the faction's xenotype percentages? I want to have a goblin empire but it's full of humans :(

It says that defending your own settlements is disabled for now. Can you fix that possibly before adding new content? It's annoying having my settlements constantly lose to bigger forces and that I can't help defend them.

should just use the resilient trait or the one what doubles your army level for defence

@OldPayphone, it's something I want to do but I first need to get more familiar with the code and coding in general before making that happen. I have been toying with the idea to boost Military Defence level in the meantime for a while though, still not sure how to go about it but it would help while I try to make Manual Defences working.

@TheSeaMoon When I played with this mod, what I used to do is found settlements in pairs. One would be a Town, which has all the economic buildings appropriate to the biome it was founded in. Another would be a Fort, and have mainly buildings that boost its Military Level. They would be founded one world map tile apart. The Fort would be set to send military to defend the Town if it is attacked, and the Town's defenders would be sent to defend the Fort if it is attacked. This way, you get an overwhelmingly strong defense anywhere you are attacked.

Then, I found the next pair of settlements right next door, one tile away, and then the next, and the next. It got to the point where any attacking enemy force was dogpiled by multiple settlements' worth of defensive forces, and utterly CRUSHED. I loved it.

Please do not sacrifice this fun strategy on the altar of MUH GAME BALANCE. It's a single player game, who cares if it's balanced, except for the one playing it?

@TheSeaMoon Manual defense would be nice, so would working military squads, but not at the cost of game-damaging bugs, like settlement defense maps that won't despawn, and error strings about the needs, equipment or relationships of despawned defender pawns.

Plus not being able to manually defend does not mean you cant defend. Build up you settlement and barracks, asign a squad and once they get a high military level they will win.
