The Water combination is confusing. XI would be 11 in roman numerals. I believe you mean for this to be VI

You might have ignored the hint on wooden box face, it ran as"follow the reflection and rise of water" and gave 2 example. Here water served as a mirror to transect the number, which is reflection. So XI was XI , seen as a upright VI and another upside down VI, while rise indicated the sequence of combination.
