So I have no merc in mind, but I got an idea what movie to mine for one liners. Holy Grail from Monty Python has a ton of one liners that might be useable and I think there was a computer game back in late ninties/early 2000s that consisted of some bad mini games but ALL the one liners. So if you could find that you could rip the stuff directly from there and wouldn't have to record it. Lemme see if I can find it, I owned it back then pretty much only for the one liners.

Possible Mercs... Lancelot, Sir Robin, Arthur... maybe melee focused, mechanical (trojan rabbit), maybe problems with blood (killer rabbit), bonus to running away, the possibilities are endless.

I was looking into the game files and pulled out Granny Cohani voice responses. She has a very small and limited set of lines as an AI. I think it was like 20 or 30 lines total. But then I went in an looked at her dialogue conversations. She does have a bunch of long conversation lines that I can cut up, edit and maybe make a voice response pack out of it.

This would take a ton of time (another big project, why do I do this).. Be I'm very egear to try this. I think it would be awesome for the community as well. She was a favorite and unforgettable merc for me during my play through. Maybe a fan favorite, idk

What do you guys think?

Granny is great, one of my fav characters! She can be intermixed with all kinds of "fu.." from other sources, fe. Tarantino movies or Black Lagoon girl Revy (anime).

maybe a few more Asian mercs there are only two in base game maybe a Viet merc that jokes about mines and traps constantly I don't really have any solid ideas

My goal is to have a lot of variety with my mercs. But that also depends on in-game assets that can be used, combined with a source for speech . Be it AI or some game.

If I did make this kind of merc. It would have English speech with Asian accent. As English is my only language I would not be able to do it any other way.
